  • Best options are to install the lamp on a wall the same way a painting would be installed.

    1) A hook in the wall. The lamp has a D-Ring on the backside. This is the prefered method.

    2) With a nylon string to a rail higher up on the wall (same as used in art galleries). The string passes through a small hole in the top of the lamp and connects to the D-Ring of the lamp.

    The lamp can also simply be placed on top of a piece of furniture or on top of a shelf, preferably with the backside close to or up against a wall. A brace to attach to the bottom of the lamp to provide more stability will be available soon.

  • The lamp has a USB type C connector on the backside.

    There are 2 options to power the lamp:

    1) If there is a power outlet in the wall behind the lamp, connect a USB power adapter and use a short USB-C cable to connect the lamp. There is space inside the back of the lamp for the power adapter.

    2) Connect a USB C cable to the USB plug on the backside of the lamp and to a standard USB C power adapter at an available power outlet.

    The USB C power adapter must be rated at least 15W (5V, no PD required) and the USB C cable can be a basic cable rated at 3A (no high speed data cable required as cable is only used to supply 5V power).

    A USB C power adapter and a 10' cable are included.

    The lamp uses low power LEDs and uses typically between 1 Watt and 10 Watts depending on set brightness level.

  • The lamp has a knob at the top to switch on/off (short press) and to adjust the brightness (turn left or right).

    The lamp continuously cycles through a number of different light animation patterns. You can select to play all patterns or just select your favorites.

    The lamp can also be connected to Apple Home and be controlled from the iPhone Apple Home app.

  • The lamps are designed by Lorenz Laubinger and hand-built in San Francisco.

    Currently lamps are only available in the wider San Francisco area for free delivery or pick-up.
